Gladioli are popular garden plants, cultivated in Europe for more than 250 years and renowned for their striking, colorful flowers but, only warm winter areas could enjoy these without re-planting year after year. That was then and this is now because these are hardy in the garden to minus 15F. But its gets even better because they have extended bloom time from July -September; they multiply every year; they are tolerant of diverse soil conditions, and have only grow 12-18” tall, eliminating flopping over.
