Surprise in the upland region of Queensland famous for Australian Topaz, Beaded Carpet glistens in the dry landscape like these birthstones do in neighboring creek beds. Nice in a rock garden, green roofs, rock walls as well as in containers. Easy to propagate; simply break pieces off before they begin to flower and stick them in the ground. Good winter effect. Spreads about 18 to 24 inches each year and grows 5-6 inches tall.
